Airtran Orlando to White Plains May 4th 2008

Now admittedly we are on the diaper express back from Orlando on a Sunday morning and we are slumming in cattle class, with a curtain between us and those who do not have to pay $6 for a beer: .....but if you need to change your kid's diaper why don't you use the bathroom rather than the seat?

So little Johnny is of an age and you can only to transport him by annoying those in all classes by carrying your child rather than having to pay for a seat in first class all for His Sweetness. But until I am expected to clean my butt in my seat, I don't think you should clean his.

Airlines please note this is no way a suggestion. I am sure it will be soon that you put a charge on bathroom use, but until you eliminate this option too, can we not all practice a little respect for the people part of the public.... while we are out in it?

Orlando Airport

Starbucks could use some help from the TSA crew here. Vast lines and yet it took less time than waiting for a overly foofie coffee - make mine anyway YOU want, just get me a Xg#@ coffee before my flight leaves.....please

Orland Airport Hyatt

Wow this is a big hotel. Got my exercise last night looking for ice.

This morning I felt sorry for the birds in cages in the hallways with no view of the outside world or sunlight. If they at least let them into a room occasionally they would see some green. Vast square feet of it plastered all over the walls without much relief for the eye. Still was convenient for the security line this morning.

MC0 to MCI on Midwest.

Late and later - apparently some scary looking clouds were hanging around looking tough and threatening the skies with rain. Odd concept airline that accepts your luggage for no charge and gives you a seat you can fit in? News article on TV in lounge- car dealer in Kansas City giving away a free tank of gas or a free gun with every car purchased. Give a man a tank of gas and he will drive.....give a man a gun and he can drive for life...... as long as he has enough bullets and gas stations to stick up.

Fairfield Inn at...

Fairfield Inn at Dulles Airport. Sweet people at the desk but the builders have found some clever ways to build the floors out of paper and make them resonate like a drum. I would give the hotel another 15 years and then a good fart in its general direction ought to blow it down. Staggering, the lack of construction.

However, beds were good and linens much better than most in this price range. Elevator small and slow and out of service the next day. Slept well despite the lack of sound insulation and proximity to the airport.

Dania Beach - Bad Boys Bad Boys...What you gonna do

Left our pad in Dania last week on 7th ave. SE. I liked the place but was woken on the last day by guys kicking in the neighbor's door - was the cops. Found this out after calling 911...no ma'am I am not going to look out of my window to see if it is the cops. Either way, I am going to get shot.

Drugs, guns, and money. He had all three. The best part was the armed hoodlums who, while still juveniles, (oooh aren't they sweet!) robbed the place because the neighbor was indisposed (well arrested). They towed the cars too....Jag, Land Rover, and his Lexus.

You have not seen so many large suvs with tinted windows in one place. Most of them were the cops but some....well you know!

Ramada in Hialeah last...

Ramada in Hialeah last night, what a fleapit, by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in America, rip off at the front desk, tried to charge $4.55 extra on top of the price line fee just for "Amenitities".

The bus from the airport stopped at 9 O' clock not even the advertised midnight.

Ramada Hialeah

Ramada Hialeah continued. The buses stop at midnight from the Airport but... they will send the maintenance man for an additional fee of about $15. Oh! What a good scam. No signs outside and the hotel seems to be destined to be demolished soon. Should had been demolish 20 years ago...

I am in Hell.....Hialiah

I am in hell....to say that even with price line, I paid $64.00 for this disgusting hotel is embarrassing. I would have done better sleeping in the car. I have slept in hotels off the beaten track in Morocco and they were better than this flea pit.

Hell is a Hotel in Hialiah

The best thing about the hotel is the four story fan palm outside.

My advise - sleep in your car somewhere far away from this hotel.
